Peter Lachance is a Knights of Columbus Field Agent with the M. Stice Agency, serving brother Knights and their families throughout portions of Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania. Peter joined the Knights of Columbus in 2026 and became a Field Agent for the Order in October 2026.

When asked why he became a Field Agent, Peter said, “I’ve always enjoyed actively practicing my Catholic faith. My parents inspired me greatly, and my dad was one of the first Permanent Deacons in the United States. Working with Catholic men gives me purpose, and I am honored to help families achieve financial security while supporting the mission of the Knights of Columbus.”

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, to American parents while his father was attending graduate school, Peter was raised primarily in South Brunswick, New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Peter brings a wealth of professional experience to his role as a Field Agent. Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of leadership positions across multiple industries, including radar systems engineering, financial services, technology startups, utilities, and international engineering firms. His experience includes serving as President of the Americas for a global water and wastewater engineering organization, Finance and Sales Director for a utility subsidiary, interim Vice President of Human Resources for a local hospital, and owner of a consulting firm specializing in leadership development, process improvement, and executive coaching. Most recently, Peter completed extensive coursework in data engineering as he prepared for the next chapter of his professional journey.

Peter is currently a parishioner at Our Lady of Grace Parish in Penndel, Pennsylvania. Previously, he was a parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Morrisville, where he was deeply involved in faith formation and youth ministry. He taught post-confirmation CCD classes and later served as co-advisor for the parish high school youth group, leading Bible studies and mentoring young Catholics for several years. Earlier in life, Peter was also active in the Newman Association during both college and graduate school, serving in leadership roles that strengthened his commitment to Catholic service.

Peter was married in 1984 and, together with his former spouse, raised three children. Today, he is a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and looks forward to the continued growth of his family in the years ahead. He currently resides in Langhorne Borough, Pennsylvania.

Outside of work, Peter enjoys staying active through pickleball and karate. He is also an accomplished musician who plays piano, guitar, and banjo, and enjoys singing country music. When the opportunity presents itself, he also enjoys spending time on the water sailing.

When asked what he hopes to achieve for his members, Peter said, “I aim to provide clarity for the financial future of Knights of Columbus members in my assigned councils. In my experience, most people are not fully aware of what they need to do to accomplish their financial goals. I believe I can help them navigate the journey toward achieving their dreams and protecting the people they love.”
